Guide for Authors

The Research in Ethnobiology and Sustainable Development journal welcomes original research, review articles, and case studies that fall within the scope of the journal. To ensure a smooth submission process, please read the following guidelines carefully.

 

  1. Manuscript Preparation

All manuscripts must be prepared using the journal's official template to ensure consistency and adherence to our formatting standards.

 

  1. Required Documents

The following forms must be completed, signed, and submitted as supplementary files along with your manuscript:

  • Conflict of Interest Form
  • Commitment Letter Form

 

  1. Author Information

To facilitate accurate communication and author identification, all authors must adhere to the following:

  • ORCID ID: All authors are required to have a registered ORCID ID and include it during the submission process.
  • Academic Email Address: Authors are requested to use their institutional or academic email addresses for registration and correspondence whenever possible. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact us at jresd@hsu.ac.ir.

 

  1. Important Submission Policies

By submitting your manuscript to the Research in Ethnobiology and Sustainable Development journal, all authors agree to the following policies:

  • Author List and Order: The number and order of authors cannot be changed after the initial submission has been completed.
  • Manuscript Withdrawal: A manuscript cannot be withdrawn once it has been sent for peer review.

 

  1. A Note to Early-Career and Non-Faculty Authors

The journal encourages submissions from students and independent researchers. To support the academic rigor of your work and the integrity of the peer-review process, we kindly request that you collaborate with a faculty member or a Ph.D. graduate who can be listed as a co-author on your submission.
